Meet Reiki Master & Author Pat Young

Over 40 years of experience!

Pat Young began practicing energy balancing in 1985 and applying it to animals, specifically horses. Whether she is treating a client, facilitating a workshop or standing on the backside of a racetrack, she is a therapist, teacher and student. She is a Reiki Master, a term given to those who are initiated and trained in the highest degree of Reiki and who teach this healing art. She treats animals with an energy balancing system combining techniques learned from studying kinesiology , Therapeutic Touch , Brain Gym , Energy Medicine , Stress Point therapy, Reiki and other modalities, which include lasers, VNIT, PEMF, vibration, hot and cold therapy. She had a professional practice in Kalispell, Montana and also travels nationally.

Pat teaches these therapies through workshops she gives nationally.

Pat is author of Basic Equine Energy Balancing, a book about the basics of the equine work she does, which is currently being revised. She also has written three read-along coloring books for children: The Riding Lesson, The Horse Show, and The Trail Ride.

She has a B.S. degree from the University of Wyoming and is a former teacher.
